Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Rian Simpson—aka DJ Raintree—has lived and breathed music from a young age. Starting with piano and guitar, then mastering drums and bass through his school years, Rian’s passion for sound has always been more than a hobby—it’s been a calling.
With a background in Music Theory and Audio Engineering, Rian brings not just a feel for the music but the technical expertise to deliver flawless performances. He’s played in bands, recorded in studios, and performed up and down the West Coast—from packed venues like the Veterans Memorial Coliseum to intimate backyard weddings under the stars.
